#1010 is a Lobe model, curly maple top, mahogany back with a walnut, maple and purple heart neck and a persimmon fretboard.
The main part of this refinish was sanding and tuning the shape of the bass. Focus was put on the lower horn, the neck/body join and the overall contour around the body. The persimmon fretboard was sanded, leveled and finished with fretboard oil. As with all my refins a new control harness was installed with Varitone and a new wood control cavity cover was fabricated, replacing the original aluminum one.
Finishing touches included FretFx LEDs and Schaller strap locks. Though I say it myself #1010 turned into quite a blonde bomshell!
