Another Poplar Wishbass; this time a Lobe with a very pretty mix of colors. The neck is mahogany, purpleheart and maple with a really nicely figured Wenge fingerboard, which I plan to epoxy. Rear controls and a EMG Select Jazz complete the spec. This bass weighs in at a very regular 9 llbs.
I was planning on a straight forward refin on this one, reshaping and refining, with the addition of a tone control and a side jack input. I then decided to epoxy the fretboard, which added a little more time to the project. The finished bass has a great tone!
