Something a little unusual here, a 35” headless six-string bass by Texas luthier Bud LeCompte.  This bass was custom.

The bass has a one piece claro walnut top and an two piece alder back, an ebony fretboard and a 5 piece maple and wenge neck.  A custom-made brass headpiece, by David King includes a string bending reservoir.  Bartolini dual coil pickups with series/single coil/parallel switching and an Aguilar OBP-1, a 2-band preamp pick-ups complete this unusual, but very playable and fantastic sounding bass.
