“The Blue Orange”

Another beauty from Jens Ritter.  This bass rocks! 

This bass has a swamp ash body, mahogany neck and Macassar ebony fret board.  It is finished in a frosted blue finish with orange powder coated hardware.  It has a simple electronic set-up, a Noll two band pre-amp (the first of a new model) with volume, blend, bass, treble and two slimbucker™ pick-ups.  It has one 9v battery powering the pre-amp and is finished off with a rear mounted jack input.

The bass sounds great and I like it’s simplicity.  The black strings are Jens Ritter’s own Black Knight strings.  The neon orange strings are DR Strings Neons.  Not only do they look very cool the play and sound great too.
